MIXEDMixed hockey is open to players from any RPHC team and is a sociable, enjoyable, friendly atmosphere in which to play hockey and get to know fellow club members outside your own team. During the regular season matches take place on a sunday afternoon and for the forthcoming season there will be a match approximately every 3 weeks. There are friendly matches and we also enter the national England Hockey Timpson Trophy.During the summer there are various weekend tournaments and there are weekday evening matches. In addition there is usually a tour each year which takes us out of Reigate to farther pastures where we (over)indulge in a lot of hockey and even more socialising. RPHC Mixed Tournament - Sun 30th Sept '07
We will be holding the annual RPHC mixed hockey tournament on Sun 30th Sept. This will be an 11 a-side mixed tournament held on grass at the clubhouse. We are looking to enter a couple of RPHC teams so if you would like to play please let me know. Non playing supporters are also encouraged to come along and cheer on (or heckle!) your team-mates. This will be a fun, family club day so please bring along whoever you want. We will also most likely have our new kit supplier attending with a stall selling a variety of hockey wares including new RPHC merchandise so this would be a great opportunity to see what is available and buy any clothing and equipment you want. The tournament falls the day after the first official club social so would be a good opportunity to catch up on the gossip form the night before and maybe remind some people of their antics! For those needing either a hangover cure or hair of the dog there will be food available all day and the clubhouse and bar will be open. Anyone who wakes up at the clubhouse or in the grounds is automatically playing!! Please let me know if you wish to play in the tournament. If you don't want to play but want to enjoy the day, no need to respond, just turn up!
Mixed game Vs Reigate Grammar School - supportes wanted!
Sunday 23rd Sept, 3 pm pushback, Hartswood
RPHC will be taking part in RGS's hockey open day and taking on the school in a mixed hockey match. This promises to be an interesting occasion with a number of RPHC players in the RGS team. Please come along to support your team-mates on both sides!
Addiscombe Mixed Tournament - Sun 23rd Sept '07 Unfortunately Addiscombe have had to cancel this tournament due to a double booking at their clubhouse. Apologies to those that were looking forward to it.
